A SELLERS GUIDE to interviewing a Real Estate Agent to sell your property.

Choosing the right Realtor for your home sale can be very confusing.  It is especially difficult when you speak with several different realtors, and they all seem so convincing.

There is a way to determine who is the most likely to succeed in getting your price and terms.  The key is knowing the right questions to ask.  This is particularly important now, as homes are certainly selling more slowly.

The following list provides you with some questions to ask your prospective Realtor.  The list will not only help you select the right Realtor, but also help you get the very best from the Realtor you choose…………..

1) Do you work as a full time realtor?

2) Do you have a full time staff of assistants to see that no details are overlooked?

3) How many potential buyers and sellers do you talk to in a day?  A week?  A year?

4) Do you have systems that are designed to market and advertise my home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week?

5) What kind of marketing do you do to attract the other Realtors to my home?

6) Do you have a written and proven home marketing plan and how did you develop this plan?  How do you know it is effective?

7) How will you set my property apart from the crowd, without costing me more money?

8) What is my property worth?  What listing price do you recommend?  How did you arrive at that price?

9) Do you have a list of current references that I may check?  (How about sellers that are currently listed with

them.)

10) Will my property have Internet exposure and how do you use this along with E-Mail communication to sell homes?
